The ascent began on the Chinese side on the famous north route. It took him four days to climb from the base camp to the jumping location. At precisely 2:30 p.m. local time he leaped despite adverse weather conditions with temperatures -18 Celsius. Because the cliff at the top was not very high, the initial moments of the leap in the rarified high altitude air were the most critical phase. Rozov needed more time than usual in the thin air to transition from freefall to flying. After that he flew for nearly a full minute at speeds of about 200 km/h (125 mph) along the north face before he landed safely on the Rongbuk glacier - at an altitude of 5,950 meters. "Only when I got back home did I see how hard it was for me both physically and psychologically," said Rozov after getting home to Moscow. He kept trying to get some support from the emergency services, but they did not be really helpful except try to calm him down. There are some other 911 tapes from two callers in the towers, that have been exhibited since the Moussaoui Trial. I uploaded the full tape so you can hear the whole call, even if it sounds long, you could guess it would even sound longer to that guy.

At the same time there is very little description about the way these data were analyzed. The high decorated MIT described it but used a method that added failure on failure (horizontal path, straight path, POV rectangular, Doppler effect...). Every conclusion was the assumption for the next conclusion (and so on) and increased the error of the result. Finally, the MIT result of 503 mph had an error of about 100mph. The NIST result was about 50mph better but still bad. Btw, they estimated the overground speed of a straight line - no wind, no descend, no turn... The reality looked a bit different.

Street Fighter V has been one of the most exciting titles in gaming for a few years now, but there's one important drawback: it doesn't actually exist yet. When Capcom announced that it was making a fifth signature edition of its timeless fighter franchise, the swell of attention and excitement that followed was noteworthy. A lot of the focus was on the fact that the game was announced only for Playstation 4 and PC usage (excluding Xbox and Nintendo systems), but really the big story was the creation of the game at all. The idea of bringing a franchise with humble beginnings on arcade systems to next-gen console quality held a lot of intrigue, and the early trailer for the game demonstrated that Capcom intended to use the full visual power of the PS4. But then the game was delayed, and delayed again. Once expected to be released in 2015, perhaps even early in the year, Street Fighter V is now expected to arrive spring 2016. According to Kotaku, the game's beta (which was not a great success) is still online for a lucky few. For most of us, it's back to the waiting game, with the hope that the currently projected release date ends up being accurate. Fortunately there are more ways to play and enjoy Street Fighter on modern systems than a lot of people might realize. The perception is that the gaming series was in need of a new edition to bring it into the latest era of gaming, and strictly speaking that may be true. Street Fighter is iconic, and it would seem wrong for next-gen consoles not to get their own version of it. But through downloads, online platforms, and even mobile gaming, Street Fighter has already extended into a lot of new avenues.
