  1. To all the PETA folk….. Cats thrive on trust, not abuse. Hit a cat one
time and it’s over. I have trained my cat to fetch, shake hands and drop
from being shot (pointed finger and command)

  2. It seems like in almost al of the cat circus videos you can see most of the
cats are rewarded immediately after they finish their trick. They really
don’t like working for free, unlike dogs…

  3. I’ve trained my cat to sit on a stool when I’m in the kitchen cooking to
stop him tripping me over and I’ve also trained him to come to the door
when I whistle. I’ve only had success getting cats to do things with
positive reinforcement, although you can stop undesirable behaviors with
    negative reinforcement.

  4. …Do you have any idea how cats came about? For work, to kill the rodents
in their master’s home. My cat loves doing these things.

  5. These cats are happy and friendly; I saw the Moscow Cat Theatre here in my
city and I got a chance to “meet the performers” and these are some the
gentle friendliest and also HAMMIEST cats I’ve ever met! They’re well cared
for by people that really do enjoy cats.

  6. #uselessfacts #cats #Russia

The “Moscow Cat Theatre” is a circus where all the tricks are performed by
    house cats.

  7. You don’t know ANYTHING about cats; these cats are enjoying themselves and
if I fed my cat all he wanted to eat I’d have to roll around; he wouldn’t
    be able to walk.

  8. Typical remark of a the left-wing pinhead where unless everything is done
within the political-correctness of Socialism, it is all, by definition, no

  9. My cat goes crazy when it comes to anything from the ocean, whether I’m
baking scrod, frying shrimp or just opening a can of sardines; he comes

  10. Fantastic!!! Your cats look fat & happy and your love and affection for
them is obvious. When are you coming back to San Francisco???

  11. All these cats get their wish , to run , jump and give people heart attacks
time to time jumping from high places, best job ever

  12. I saw them when they toured the US. It was wonderful. I had seen no videos
of the show, and didn’t know what to expect. I was flabbergasted. You can
tell these felines are loved and cared for. And, there are dogs on stage
with the cats, too! Cats don’t do what they don’t want to do, as anyone who
lives with a cat will tell you. This is a must-see show when it comes to
    your town.

  13. Anyone who thinks these cats are being abused obviously doesn’t know
anything about cats. One woman here said she even went backstage to see the
cats and they were happy and healthy. I don’t know if it’s true that he
doesn’t spay or neuter any of the cats, but there are lots of people who
don’t spay and neuter their pets who allow their cats to have litters that
wind up producing more and more homeless cats. At least this guy is keeping
them all. I know Samantha Martin makes a point of saying hers are all
rescues and are spayed and neutered in her act. I don’t know this guy’s
    position on that.

For those who don’t understand what the motivation is, hello? Do you not
see the treats in their hands? Lol. Treats and lots of praise and petting.
My cats do tricks without even giving them treats. I just have to say: “Oh,
you’re such a good, smart boy!” and pet them. Very tortuous, indeed!

And I am highly suspicious of these people who are claiming they recognize
all these weird torturing methods that I do not see and have never heard of
and make no sense to anyone who knows about cats. Makes me wonder what THEY
    are doing to cats. :/

  14. I’ve trained my Russian Blue Tabby mix & my Jap Bobtail… The thing is I
have a sort of laissez faire semit-anarchist mentality about it…

  15. I can’t say whether the cats are treated well or not but now when I
watched videos of their show I don’t like some of the tricks. This is not
the kind of entertainment what pleases me.
