  1. While I agree that good, spacious conservations with hand picked staff are nothing but good for these creatures, I’ve seen more than enough bad enclosures with mistreated animals and lousy staff to stop me thinking „They’re better off in Zoos“. All facilties, be they Zoos or Safari parks, should be subject to strict appraisals. Some of these animals are better off in private ownership (with the right resources, care and space) simply because the conditions in some Zoos are so bad even today.

  2. Cute… but very sad… they belong in the wild… not in a house among humans. sure the dog works as a playmate now but when the tiger grows.. its over. Humans like to think that oh its been raised by humans so its not going to do any harm. Tigers are predator and you cant train that away.

  4. i read an article in the news that house hold now a days having exotic pets than dogs or cats which is for me that is an alternitive for pets and it’s very cool

  5. Say that to the two guys from Britain who raised a lion, let it out into a reservatory and when they came back, the lion came up and hugged them. It’s all a matter of how and if they are trained to recognize people and other animals. Or how about that dog who is best friend with a cheetah?

  6. it is cute but what is it doing in tour house? its bad enough that they have to stay in zoos for people like you to gape at, but they belong in the wild or at least safari parks where they can learn to fend for themselves. they don’t belong in your house eating cat food and playing with a fuzzy ball on a string. That’s just wrong. Pretty sure in most countries its ILLEGAL to have exotic pets

  7. Er…I am quite aware of the rhino’s dire situation. But different species are facing different pressures. Poaching is the death knell for some, the exotic pet trade for others. The environment and humanity’s relationship with it is profoundly complex.

  8. this cute, but mutants belong in the wasteland, not in a livign room among humans, sure the dog works as a playmate with the mutant, but when teh mutant grows.. its over, Humans may think a mutant will not do any harm since it’s been raised by humans. Mutants are heretic scum and you cannot train it that way. Long live the emperor

  9. True but it’s better to have this tiger in that house instead of in the wild with the factor of other people trying to kill them for their fur and teeth… sad it is, but it would be even more sad if the latter situation would take effect

  10. how is that mean? how on earth is knowing we are superior to other animals as a whole mean? Does that mean I hate animals? No, but I do know we are superior. If that wasn’t the case, why would we be able to train animals?

  11. tiger cubs aren’t just for christmas, they make beautiful gifts for any time in the year. worried it wont match the decor? buy an albino. white goes with everything. and when it grows up, buy a saddle and ride it to work.

  13. Man, that tiger just looks so unhappy. I can’t believe you’re treating it like this! Absolutely terrible! Please ensure you have your sarcasm detector enabled for this post.

  16. Why, it’s being playful.. that’s how some dogs play, like cats do too.. if the cub was really that annoyed, it would’ve slashed at him or it him back already. 😉

  21. Yes, it’s a very cute video. Yes, the tiger cub is adorable. Tigers are an endangered species and shouldn’t be considered house pets. There will be trouble down the road and the tiger likely will be the one that bears the brunt of it even though it’s just acting like a tiger.

  29. Hasn’t anyone ever seen the „Growing Up…“ show on Animal Planet? People foster exotic baby animals a lot. It’s not that weird to see a video of a baby tiger in someone’s house.

  44. A human-imprinted tiger is not dangerous. On top of that, there are reasons a wild animal can become nonreleasable. Given the fact that they may very well be going extinct in the wild if people don’t stop hunting them, I don’t think keeping them in captivity is really morally indefensible.

  48. To anyone thinking this is cute …

    – There’s only 3,000 wild tigers left in the world.
    – Only 1/3 of them (~1,000) are breeding females.
    – Tigers are near extinction due to poaching and the exotic animal trade.

Ask yourself: Where is this tiger’s mom? Why is he not with her, in the wild? Why is this tiger in someone’s living room?

If you care about the fate of tigers, this video is not cute. It’s disgusting and deplorable. It’s the reason they’re on the verge of extinction.

  56. You realize this person COULD work for a zoo or wildlife park and help breed these animals? You also realize that zoos and wildlife parks send millions of dollars a year to conserving environments such as the wild and breeding endangered animals to prevent extinction?
there is nothing ugly about this now shut up and close your browser if you cant handle it
