  1. Sorry guys 2 disappoint ya,
    but this wasn´t filmed on the Oktoberfest…
    This is the „Gäubodenfest“ in Straubing…
    (but this event also aint not less than 1.2 m visitors evry year;
    its No. 2 of the Volksfeste behind the Oktoberfest)

  2. Just to make it clear, this song is from and about the Gäubodnvolksfest in Straubing, 2nd biggest festival in Bavaria. Pretty awesome !!!

  3. Translation
    Bayerisch (original) : Schied ei, heid is Geibonfest
    Deutsch : Schenk ein, heute ist Gäubodenfest
    Eglisch : pour in, today is „Gäubodenfest“

    Hammer der Typ

  4. Thats not the Oktoberfest.. Its the Gäubodenfest in Straubing, the twice biggest Volksfest in Germany. In The Backround you see a Flag of Erl Bier and the Band sings „Schied ei, heid is Gäubodenfest“ thats bavarian, and means „Drink, today is Gäubodenfest“.

  5. this is not on the Oktoberfest, this an on the Gäubendenvolksfest in Staubing.

    also an alle de deutsch kenna, des is an net am Oktoberfest, des war an in Straubing. am Gäuboden Volksfest. und zwar hat an da de Josef Menzelband im Beckfestzelt gspielt.

  6. @Kreezen
    no no no! although it is the melody of „go west“ they sing but „schied ei, heid is geibonfest“. which refers again gäubodenfest in straubing (in lowerbavaria). sung in the dialect. roughly translated: drink drink! today is gäubodenfest. I’m sure – I was there live 🙂
