  1. Hey Sahadi. I can see you’re so fond of having words spelt correctly, so here is how you spell Australia πŸ˜‰
Now get back to internetting πŸ˜‰ You bunch of fuckwits – That’s a kinda cross between a twit and a fuck πŸ˜‰

  2. @TheMrSwaggalicious no it will not. thats the worst thing about it is that someone can come in and leave and no one would know the difference. lock smiths have used this method for many years.

  3. why are you talking about goldfish breeding on the comments section of a lock bumping tutorial if you want to talk about that then why dont you go look up goldfish breeding. after all youtube does have just about everything.

  4. @TheMrSwaggalicious No, they won’t mess up your lock. Just make sure if you make your own, to clean off any possible metal shards hanging off the grooves. A couple of quick swipes with sand paper aught to do the trick.

If you use a professionally cut bump key, there is 0% chance of messing up your lock.

  5. @zacthebold If you have the right 5 key set, you can get into quite a few locks in North America. With the proper 20 key set, your chances improve quite substantially to get into residential locks. With a 30-40 key set, well…you are almost guaranteed to open all residential locks (and several padlocks)

These are the most common 5 keys
    KW1 (House)
    Schlage SC1
    Schlage SC4
    Titan KW10
    M1 (Padlock)

2 of the 5 aforementioned keys will get you into my apartment building, apartment, AND bedroom.

  6. @janX9 If the key fits in the lock does that mean it is the right key? My house key does not have any markings but the bump key I made was a kw1. It fit but didn’t work.

  7. @zacthebold Well, I’m not a locksmith, but I do know a little about locks… It is possible you have the wrong key, as different keys will fit in the same lock. But because the grooves on the sides of key may be a little different, causing the height of the key inside the lock cylinder to not perfectly line up. Also some locks have a different number of pins.

  8. @zacthebold It is also possible that you have the right key, but may not have but the key properly, You may have not cut the height properly or spaced out the valleys int the key right. OR the lock itself isn’t oiled well, if you have an old lock that isn’t very clean inside, it MAY prevent the pins from moving fluidly, so bumping can be difficult. Try testing your KW1 on a few different KW1 locks. Lastly…use only a little pressure when bumping, and try holding the key at the top AND bottom.

  9. @janX9 do you need one of the lock key in order to work? i mean with one bump key open several differents locks or you need one of the keys of that lock and then do the bump key?

  10. @thegoldenboy294 As long as the bump key is for the specific type of lock your trying to open it will work, you don not need the original key…

For example, you live in an apartment building, and have a bumpkey that works on your door…that bumpkey should work on almost every lock in your building. With the exception of the locks in the lobby, to get into the building, because those are usuall different.

    KW1 would be your apartment.
Schlage SC1 or Schlage SC4 would be the building key.

  11. I bought some from SUPERBUMPKEYS. com and they really worked, at first i couldnt believe what i was seeing, so i had to test this on my house and good thing i did because i found out i had to change my locks. atleast buy 1 to test your locks at home. its better to spend alittle on testing then to spend alot on replacing all your belongings. the keys are only like 2 dollars.

  12. The huge irony about this whole scare campaign is that it will never change a theifs intent im a locksmith and the most important thing have learnt is that if someone wants to get in – there gonna fuckn get in. Locks merely buy you time – even the best locks including Abloy still have there weaknesses!
PS bump keys are gay they dont last long and are only good if you know the correct key profile- just use a pick gun and stop jerkin off !

  13. there is a EASIER and FASTER way to open locks and doors by using superbumpkeys, i got some online for about 2 bucks at superbumpkeys. com and all you have to do is hit the key with a screwdriver or something hard and turn the key and your in.. it doesnt get any better than that.

  14. Just so everyone knows, this only works if u have the right type of key. Most masterlocks have the same key so u must use one of those on a masterlock and the same goes for all other makes of locks πŸ™‚

  15. I’ve never used this technique, but it seems sound in theory. I would suspect you’d require more than one to match the different keyways. I might try this, but since I’m not a student or locksmith anymore. My practice has dwindled to friends/family locking themselves out of whatever. lol

  16. hey man nice vid I tried to make a bump key with a master lock #3 key it worked but only with much effort and only on 2 out of 5 master lock #3s I tried it in some just didnt work and some it was like the teeth didnt hit all of the pins the key looks like yours and others Ive seen I dont know what I am doing wrong any advice you could give me thx

  17. hey I’ve tried using this technique to unlock my backyard door (iseo lock) had th original key duplicated n then filed it (I can’t unlock it after filing)..but it doesn’t work..

  18. i got some for only 2 bucks at superbumpkeys. com and they worked great. i got them to test my locks, and im glad i did, i found out i had to replace my old locks. i think you should beat the criminals and atleast test your locks.

  19. @karajo77
You dont know the ethics i guess? you try these TO PREVENT FROM HAPPENING! If you test these things to your „defences“ and they work, then it means you should upgrade you „defences“, it is just that simple!

I’m a hacker, WHITE HAT HACKER! i experiment to my server and make it better by attacking it so i know what holes needs to be shut.

    Brain is a friend.

  20. they work with both bottom and top lock, security doors and all sort of locks, i got them at superbumpkeys. com for $ 2.00 if you make your own it can get stuck if you dont give it the right angles.

  21. Ahhh Tyler my hero. I heard a bunch of people saying how it’s easier to buy them instead of making them and it’s true. If you make them wrong they can get stuck and we don’t need that. So I thinks it’s better to buy them online like at superbumpkeys. Com plus they only coat 2 bucks

  22. when ever i find a trick like this i cherish it and i absolutly love the person for posting it. then a few days later i get angry at the person because tehy are still showing other people how to do it im just like QUIT SHARING THE SECRETS OF THE WORLD THATS THE REASON THEY ARE SECRETS.

  23. @stno7 1) Locks only keep out honest people. 2) This isn’t anything new, as he pointed out early in the video. There’s a patent for a bump key from 1928. It’s been in use among criminals and locksmiths since the 70s. Only became popular after being features in the news sometime in 2004.

  24. Seriously, why would you guys make this?
This is just encouraging and making it easier for criminals to break into peoples houses. I hope someone watches this then tries to break into your house. This really isn’t funny. Someone tried to bump a lock at the apartment complex I live in. To stop them I got a chain which will only allow them to open the door about 2 inches and no more.

  25. @Amberrrism

A chain? Seriously… That is the dumbest thing I’ve heard. Those door chains are easy to get through with a small pair of bolt cutters or can be easily be ripped off the wall unless you weld the chain to a steel frame, but the bolt cutters can still get through the chain.

  26. Next tylerlarson000, why don’t you show criminals the best way to lure kids into their cars to that they can abduct them…you flippin idiot. You seem so proud of yourself…I hope your house is next to be robbed you moron.

  27. @GastovskiJames: You prevent this by adding an inside only deadbolt…this negates any burglar’s ability to pick the door lock from the outside. Then…as he wakes you up from all the noise, you take your .40 cal handgun, wait until he steps into your house, then unload your mag into his chest (preventing a „I thought this was my sister’s house“ excuse).

  28. hmm i have a bunch of old key’s i have no idea what they goto i might try this out for ha ha’s.. could be handy if you ever lock your self out.. i have .. luckly im not the only one with a set.

question.. this only works with key’s that have teeth on 1 side?

  29. Bumpkeys are fun to use. i got some online because the one i had made ended up getting stuck and i had to take the whole lock apart. so i decided to just order 1 from superbumpkeys. com and they are only 2 bucks. plus they work and they dont get stuck.

  30. you can put a little bit of rubber at the end of the key so that you don’t have to keep pulling it out. just apply a little pressure and tap it with something a few times and you’re in =] makes it quite a bit faster if you’re having trouble

  31. After all a lock is just a way to keep the honest one’s honest those who own smith&wesson’s aren’t worried bout‘ no key bumpin‘ fools. support your second amendment right by using it because there are easier ways to bypass locks!

  32. 1,750,000 and counting people now know how to break into any house, maybe not quiet, but lots more quiet then breaking a window lol. Also this works on stores, but you need to know the security code lmao. PS dont steal and break into houses/stores

  33. i guess ignorance is bliss for those who complain about the informative nature of this video….. Those complaining should be grateful this guy explained how bumping works so they can protect their homes by getting an anti-bump door knob. I guess it’s better to be ignorant and not fearful gee………

Standort Deutschland.

  35. Another useful hint is to place a rubber „o“ ring towards the back in order to automatically reset the key 1/16 of an inch out. That way you don’t have to pull the key out one notch every time. Useful when learning the right amount of torque to apply because you can just keep tapping away.

  36. Thank you for posting this video. I don’t ever plan to use this information for nefarious means, but instead to protect myself and others.

  38. Can anyone please anwers my question ?

I live in Europe and does this mean a bumpkey only works on American locks ?

  40. If someone want to really steal you shit, he’ll just break the fucking window when you’re gone. So, even if there was something like it in Europe, it be pointless.

  42. Issue is, breaking a window causes lots of attention and noise, so bumping and snapping are popular for that reason…quick, easy, quiet.

  44. Ah hahaha. Ah hahaha. You’re cute. Do you think they’re going to stick around? No. They’re going to find something valuable sitting near a window, smash, grab, and fucking gone. If someone wants to steal something, they don’t care about making noise or any of that horse shit. Someone’s been watching too much CSI. As someone who’s aunt got robbed by having the window open (since many aren’t locked. Those that are? Smash.), you’re delusional.

  48. „lock bumping“ was in the recent movie „the next three days“. I didn’t know if it was real, so i did a youtube search. I’d imagine that at least half of this guys views came from people like me.

  50. I’m sorry. I’m mean I’m only 12 and not to correct you but just because it fits doesn’t mean it will work. The lock might have more or less chambers..
